Indianapolis Doctors Discover a Drug Laced with Bug Spray that Causes Zombie-Like Symptoms

Mar 23, 2018 By Graziella Paone Leave a Comment

Woman spraying a bug spray

The drug laced with bug spray makes people behave like zombies

Doctors from Indianapolis have noticed a strange phenomenon among drug users in the city. Some of these people are consuming a drug laced with bug spray. Those who take too much a dosage of this drug exhibit strange symptoms that remind of zombies. The police and medical officials of the city decided to investigate the matter more.

KD is a drug laced with bug spray

The doctors came first into contact with this drug laced with bug spray when they found a man lying on the grass near the edge of the city. This man was struggling to breathe, and was later found to have consumed a drug called KD. Later, doctors discovered what KD meant. It was a combination of spice, tobacco, or marijuana laced with a really powerful bug spray.

Then, they started discovering more people who had consumed this KD drug laced with bug spray. The substances made them drool, become incredibly lethargic and unable to move properly. Most people found in the city were struggling to take the grass off the ground and put it in their mouths. This behavior reminded doctors of zombies.

KD consumption turns people into zombies

The police discovered many overdose cases in one single day. Some of them didn’t survive, or were found too late, when they were already dead. Unfortunately, there is not much they can do until the ambulance arrives. However, the bad thing is they won’t stop.

Most of these people will end up in hospital, receive treatment, and then get better. This can happen even within two hours after the initial incident. Afterwards, they return on the streets, and are likely to consume again the drug laced with bug spray. What they don’t know is that they might destroy their brain function forever.

Killer Nanny Possessed by Blood-Hungry Demon, Sister Claims

Mar 20, 2018 By Graziella Paone Leave a Comment

Killer Nanny Was Possessed

Yoselyn Ortega’s on-going trials reveal that even before the Krim slayings there were a lot of red flags concerning the killer nanny’s change of behavior. Taking the stand on her behalf, Ortega’s sister claimed that her sister was possessed by a supernatural entity that enthralled her into committing the murders and that killer nanny slaying could have been averted if the parents paid more attention to their employee.

Killer Nanny Claimed being Taunted by ‘Black Man’

As Yoselyn Ortega’s trial continues, judge and jury have begun interviewing key witnesses. This week, Miladys Garcia, Yoselyn Ortega’s 64-year-old sister from the Dominican Republic, took the witness stand.

According to her statement, Garcia spoke on the phone with the killer nanny hours before she slit the throats of 2-year-old Leo Krim and 6-year-old Lulu Krim. Ortega’s sister described the woman’s voice as not being her own, grinding her teeth at regular intervals like she was possessed by something truly evil.

More than that, the woman declared that her sister often spoke of a disembodied entity, whom she dubbed the ‘black man’ that spoke evil things to her and even threatened to kill both families.

Kevin Krim, the father of Leo and Lulu, was outraged when the killer nanny’s sister claimed that he and his wife were responsible for the slayings, as they’ve ignored the telltale signs of her murderous insanity.

The prosecutor riposted and accused Miladys of keeping silent about her sister’s behavioral changes. However, the woman declared that her sister had bouts of melancholy and sadness and that she didn’t think they were serious.

At the beginning of the trial, the killer nanny’s attorney pleaded not guilty on the reason of insanity. If Ortega is found guilty on these legal grounds, she might spend the rest of her life behind bars.

Rogue Viral Sinus Infection Leads to Teen’s Death

Mar 15, 2018 By Graziella Paone Leave a Comment

Sinus infection.

13-year-old child dies at hospital after being diagnosed with rare sinus infection.

A 13-year-old boy from Michigan recently passed away at the hospital after developing a rare viral sinus infection. The family declared that it all started with common cold symptoms. By the end of February, the teen’s brain was filled with blood clots.

Viral Sinus Infection Masked by Cold Symptoms

Peggy Gilbert, a relative of Marquel Brumley, the eighth-grader who recently passed away at the hospital, recalls that the family’s tragedy began at the beginning of February when the boy was brought to the emergency room after he experiences cold-like symptoms.

At that time, the doctors diagnosed him with a mild viral infection and told the family that it would probably go away on its own. A couple of days later, the teen started having terrible migraines. He was again taken to the emergency room, but the doctors still stood by their initial diagnosis

Unfortunately, the family returned to the hospital when Brumley’s face began to swell. Gilbert said that when the family brought the Michigan teen to the hospital, he was unable to keep his left eye open.

An MRI scan revealed that after Brumley’s last migraine he developed massive blood clots on his brain. The doctors told the family that he needs surgery as his brain did not receive enough oxygen. Before he was wheeled to the OR, the teen would suffer two massive brain strokes.

Conclusion

According to the neurosurgeons who operated on Brumley, the viral sinus infection went all the way through his bones, protruded the blood vessels, and caused blood clots.

Following the surgery, the doctors declared that the teen has little chances of recovery. On Wednesday, Brumley’s family announced that the teen passed away at the hospital.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to cover the Michigan teen’s funeral expenses.

Utica Mom Charged after Toddler Wanders off in the Middle of the Road

The Utica mom told the authorities that she doesn’t know how her son managed to get out of the car.

The New York authorities charged a 27-year-old Utica mom with endangering a child’s welfare after a viral video showed her 9-month-old toddler crawling in the middle of a busy road. Child Protective Services were notified, and the toddler along with his siblings was removed from the woman’s custody.

Utica Mom Said She Secured the Toddler in Car Before Leaving

On Friday, the authorities arrested 27-year-old Ledrika Ford for leaving her child unattended after she left her vehicles.

According to the authorities, on that day, at approximately 10:30 p.m. several people passing by an Upstate New York road saw a 9-month-old toddler crying and crawling, as the vehicles tried to avoid him.

Some concerned citizens went to comfort the toddler and ensure that he wasn’t hit by the passing vehicles. When one of them returned from his car with a blanket to keep the child warm, 27-year-old Ford ran towards the man, telling him that it was her baby.

The authorities arrived after a couple of minutes and placed the woman under arrest. During her police interview, the Utica mom told the investigators that she had to pay a visit to someone on Bleecker Street and that before leaving the son in the car, she made sure that all doors and windows are closed.

Moreover, the woman declared that she doesn’t know how her son ended up crawling down the busy road. The whole event was captured on tape and posted on several social media channels, including Facebook.

Conclusion

Following the woman’s confession, the Child Protective Services were notified and, on Saturday, the toddler and three other children, ages 1, 2, and five were removed from the Utica mom’s custody.

The woman was released from jail but is scheduled to appear before the court on the 23rd of March to answer for one charge of endangering a child’s welfare.

Three Day Care Teachers Arrested for Giving Toddler’s Melatonin

Mar 6, 2018 By Graziella Paone Leave a Comment

Melatonin and toddlers.

Three teachers were arrested for giving toddlers gummy bears laced with melatonin.

The Des Plaines authorities recently arrested three day care teachers and charged them with endangering a child’s life. According to arrest warrants, the day care employees gave several two-year-old children gummy bears laced with melatonin to help them fall asleep faster. None of the children showed any sign of side-effects associated with the supplement.

Day Care Teachers Didn’t Have Parents Consent to Administer Melatonin

According to the Des Plaines authorities, the events that led to the arrest of three day care teachers occurred at the Kiddie Junction management center. The deeds were uncovered by another teacher who alerted the authorities.

Subsequent investigation revealed that 32-year-old Kristen Lauletta, 19-year-old Jessica Heyse, and 25-year-old Ashley Helfenbein, all three of them Kiddie Junction employees, have been giving toddlers gummy bears laced with melatonin, a sleep supplement.

After being confronted by the authorities, the day care teachers declared that there wasn’t anything wrong with giving melatonin to children, as it is an over-the-counter supplement. Furthermore, the teachers decided to give the laced gummy bears to the children despite not having their parents’ permission.

The authorities alerted all parents, who took their children to the local hospital. Fortunately, none of the children who ate gummy bears experienced side-effects, although one of the parents declared that his toddler used to be groggier after day school.

Although melatonin is generally considered safe for use, some neurologists claim that melatonin abuse can interfere with the normal sleep-wake cycle. Another side-effect of using melatonin supplements in order to fall asleep is recurring nightmares.

Conclusion

The situation could have taken a more dramatic turn if one or more of the toddlers were allergic to the substance.

All three day care teachers were arrested and charged with endangering a child’s health. They are due to appear in court on the 14th of April.

Indiana Mom in Jail After Force-Feeding Bleach to Autistic Child

Feb 16, 2018 By Graziella Paone Leave a Comment

Bleach and autism.

Indiana mom in custody after giving bleach to autistic child.

An Indiana mother was taken into custody after her husband discovered that the woman was force-feeding their child bleach, in a desperate attempt at curing her autism. The Food and Drug Administration warns that the wonder-cure boasted by the Facebook group is not only ineffective and scientifically wrong, but potentially fatal.

Indiana Mom Believe that She Could Kill Autism Parasite with Bleach

According to the authorities, an Indiana mom was arrested and booked into county jail for allegedly poisoning her daughter in order to rid her of autism. The whole thing was uncovered by the girl’s father after the woman confessed using a wonder-cured she read about in a closed Facebook group.

For the past weeks, the woman has been putting drops of hydrochloric acid and a chlorine-based water purification solution in the child’s water or fruit juice. The result of this mixture is bleach, a substance used for any number of household and industrial purposes.

Allegedly, the woman confessed to her husband that this mixture would cure their daughter of autism. Having heard the Indiana mom’s confession, the man went straight to the authorities.

Boasted as being a cure for any number of medical conditions including hepatitis, cancer, and autism, the wonder-cure seems to have had a popularity boost, in part by the efforts of a US-based obscure Facebook group.

Conclusion

Called the Miracle Mineral Solution, MMS for short, the substance is marketed as a full body cleanse. The group believes that diseases, even those with a pregnant genetic component, are caused by parasites. Thus, by drinking bleach, the body should be rid of parasites, allowing the patient to live a healthy life.

The experts have warned that not only the science backing up MMS is faulty, but using it can be deadly.

Woman Found Lizard in Lettuce Pack

Feb 8, 2018 By Graziella Paone Leave a Comment

Lettuce Pack and Lizards.

New Hampshire woman found 3-inch blue-bellied lizard in lettuce pack.

Because every meal should be a surprise, we bring you the slightly odd case of a New Hampshire woman who found a 3-inch lizard in her lettuce pack. Following her culinary ordeal, the woman was rushed to the hospital, suspect of having ingested contaminated salad.

Critter Found in Lettuce Pack Was Californian Blue-Bellied Lizard

The victim of the recent food hijack is Michelle Carr, a young mother and aspiring nurse from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Although everything ended well, Carr’s recent experience does raise a couple of food safety concerns.

As the woman recalls, she went to the supermarket in order to buy a pack of romaine lettuce. The nurse told the reporters that the salad was store-branded and that it wasn’t the first time she bought that particular brand.

After arriving home, the woman popped open the bag and emptied its contents into a bowl, without even looking at it. A couple of bites later, Carr’s fork became stuck in the salad. Thinking it might have been a chunk of salad, Carr lifted the fork only to find a 3-inch lizard at the end of it.

The nurse recalls that the last thing she did before checking herself into the hospital was vomiting. Concerned that she might have contracted harmful bacteria from the lizard-inhabited lettuce pack, the nurse went back to the hospital for tests.

Fortunately, everything was in order, but the New Hampshire woman will now think twice before buying a lettuce pack. As for the little solicitor, a biologist declared that the 3-inch critter was a Californian blue-bellied lizard.

Conclusion

Meanwhile, the supermarket was made aware of the incident and took the necessary precautions.  During a public statement, a supermarket spokesperson declared that the supplier was notified of the incident and a that a Food and Drug Administration investigation will be carried out.

Former convict shot and killed outside Brooklyn deli after ordering steak and beer.

Brooklyn authorities are currently investigating the death of a former convict who was gunned down outside a deli on Monday afternoon. The man just ordered his steak and stepped out of the bodega when he was shot three times in the chest by an African-American individual.

Former Convict Served Time for Killing Two People

Earnest Brownlee, a 55-year-old former convict, was gunned down on Monday afternoon right outside the B&G Deli and Food Corp. located near Throop Avenue. Robert Nunes, a deli cook and of the eyewitnesses, declared that Brownlee entered the deli at approximately 12:40 p.m. and ordered a steak and some beer.

Brownlee told the cook that he’s going to pick up his meal later and left the deli. As soon as the former convict stepped outside, he was briefly approached by an unknown individual who whipped out his gun and shot the man three times in the chest.

The man managed to tell a passerby that he was wounded before collapsing. First emergency responders attempted to resuscitate the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

At the moment, the authorities are attempting to located and identify the gunman. According to the eyewitness accounts, the suspect is an African-American citizen, 5-foot-6 in height and, at the time of the shooting, he was wearing a gray jacket.

Conclusion

As for Brownlee, his family declared that he had legal trouble in the past, but he served his time and was now taking up odd jobs to support his wife confined to a wheelchair. Brownlee was arrested for the first time in 1982, after killing an individual with a shotgun.

He will again be incarcerated in 1983, for stabbing to death a 32-year-old individual over a botched marijuana transaction. The man also spent three years behind bars for burglary; sentence received in 2011.

Abilene Foster Mother Arrested for Abusing Daughter

Feb 1, 2018 By Graziella Paone Leave a Comment

Abilene foster murder under arrest

Abilene foster mother arrested for assaulting 2-year-old infant.

Abilene authorities recently arrested 31-year-old Hannah Seekins and charged her with child abuse after her 2-year-old foster daughter had to be flown to Lubbock hospital for emergency neurosurgery. The woman claims that the toddler must have fallen off a bench while playing.

Abilene Foster Mother Said Child Fell Off 21-inch High Bench

According to the foster mother’s affidavit, on the 21st of April 2017, the woman was downstairs, presumably in the living room, when she heard a loud thump coming from upstairs where she left her 2-year-old daughter playing.

Allegedly, when the woman entered the room, she found her semi-conscious daughter lying on the floor. The toddler told her mother that her body feels limp, as her eyeballs rolled uncontrollably to the side.

Panicked, the woman called 911 and told the authorities that her child had an accident. After the paramedics came and took the infant to the local hospital, the law enforcement officers interviewed Seekins.

According to the woman’s affidavit, the toddler fell from a bench while she was playing upstairs. However, the authorities became suspicious after discovering that the bench was only 21-inches high and a fell from that height could not account for the toddler’s condition.

The infant was rushed to the Hendrik Medical center. From there she was airlifted to the Lubbock University Medical Center for emergency surgery. According to Dr. Patti Patterson, one of the doctors who cared for the 2-year-old, the toddler has a spinal compression fracture, a sprained spine, eye bleeding, and multiple subdural hemorrhages.

The examination concluded that the infant could not have had those type of injuries by falling off the bench. Seekins was arrested on Thursday and charged with child abuse and is currently held in county jail on a $10,000 bond.

Italy High School Armed Incident

Sixteen-old student arrested after opening fire inside Italy High School cafeteria.

On Monday, the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office agents have arrested a 16-year-old Italy High School student who allegedly opened fire inside the school cafeteria, wounding a 15-year-old. The suspect was apprehended without any incident, and the victim was airlifted to the nearby hospital.

No Motive Discovered for Italy High School Shooting

According to Chuck Edge, the Ellis County Sheriff, on Monday morning, at approximately 7:30 a.m., the authorities were summoned at the Italy High School. The caller declared that several gunshots were heard from the high school’s cafeteria from an unknown gunner.

Minutes later, the Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 16-year-old student as he was attempting to leave the premises. A .380 semi-automatic handgun was found on him. Edge declared that the suspect was taken into custody without an incident and that the case is being investigated.

According to the eyewitnesses, the 16-year-old Italy High School gunner was inside the institution’s cafeteria when he spotted a 15-year-old student sitting at one of the tables. The student approached her, and a conversation ensued.

However, the conversation took a turn for the worst, as the male student began to attack the female student verbally. Subsequently, the boy took out the semi-automatic handgun he kept concealed in his jacket and fired several shots towards the female students.

The school immediately notified the authorities which led to the student’s arrest. As the school’s policy dictates that no info should be released regarding the students’ identities, at the moment, we don’t know for sure who was involved in the Italy High School shooting.

Conclusion

Following the student’s arrest, the girl was airlifted to the nearby hospital to receive treatment for her injuries. Authorities refused to offer additional details about the female student’s medical condition. The case is ongoing, and we will offer more details as soon as they are made available.
