On Monday, the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her third child at St. Mary’s Hospital in London. Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles, were delighted to welcome the new member of the royal family. They released an official statement and said how glad they were to have a new grandson.
The Duchess gave birth on Monday
Soon after the Duchess gave birth, Kensington Palace released the official statement to inform people of the event. This way, we found out about the new prince, and that him and his mother were doing more than well. Soon afterwards, everyone started sending messages to the royal family and its new member.
Among those who made such messages public were Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles. They said they were both extremely happy to have another grandson, and wish him all the best in his life. However, the Prince of Wales was a bit worried. He didn’t know how we would keep up with a new grandchild.
She will probably be able to attend the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
The official announcement mentioned all members of the royal family, but Prince Harry’s future wife wasn’t present. Experts explained this must have been intentional, but only because Meghan Markle is not part of the royal family yet. After the wedding, she will become the official aunt of the royal babies.
Since the wedding will take place soon after the Duchess has given birth, it is unclear if she will be part of the event. We do not know if the delivery was a difficult one. If this was the case, then she will need all the time to rest, and attending the grand event might be too tiring for her. However, experts say there will be no need for that.
The ceremony will take place on May 19th, and the Duchess has been under the care of the best doctors in the country. Therefore, she should be recovering well, and would be able to enjoy the big day without anything to bother her.
