The first Google Glass prototype was received with hype and enthusiasm but proved to be a market failure, as sales did not bring much of a profit for the tech giant. It seems that a new Google Glass prototype will soon be launched as it just passed through the FCC.
Speculators think that this is the new Google Glass generation although we do not have official information from the tech giant yet. The upcoming model could be called the “enterprise” edition. Google may be aiming to take the glasses into the mainstream runaway and make them land directly into corporation offices.
It seems that Google is already testing the upcoming version of their Glass series, as some documents from the FCC leaked. According to the organization, the device will support various Wi-Fi bands and Bluetooth.
Further information reveals that the new gadget will be shaped on a particularly Glass resembling rectangular display and it will be available on a submenu that asks users to “scroll left and right”. The scrolling directions are used on the last version of Glass as well.
Google failed with the previous version of Glass but took the failure as a lesson learned and now they are planning go forward with the initiative to launch a second, much better version.
The upcoming device that still needs official confirmation will be equipped with built-in recheargable battery, 802. 11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE.
All the clues and speculation lead to an upcoming Google Glass device. If that will prove to be true, we expect the upgraded gadget to be much better, stronger, faster and easily adaptable to consumer requirements. Technology makes up for the future of mankind and Google has the great responsibility to come up with devices that make our lives easier and more efficient.
“Google Glass v2 could very well be the catalyst for true mobility and personalization in many industry sectors” Forbes declares. The future sounds good, and the future sounds Google Glass.
