Google plans to launch a new messaging app, which means that after using its Hangouts platform for a long time with no significant results, the company has finally decided to bring a new service for better texting services.
This app does not take a lot of space important on regular cell phones compared to similar software, for now. This new application will use Google’s emerging AI features, developing chat bots or other programs that can offer solutions to the users’ queries within a texting app, as the tech publications revealed this week.
According to various sources, one of the search engine’s expert groups has been developing this system since last year. By saying the “OK Google“ voice command, customers can ask their questions regarding various domains and the app will offer the most appropriate answer to them.
Google’s move is ideal, because texting applications and chat bots endanger Google’s part as the online world’s leading search platform, the report said. In order to create its new messaging app, the company has allegedly built it starting from previous “Google Now” features.
Such specific chat bots could offer to the upcoming app additional details about the best answers to the customers’ queries. The search engine has also similar objectives with other software that may appear next year.
Some of its laboratories are currently developing a technological innovation that will select the best chat bot in order to reply to a demand. There is the Sparks app too, via which the company will send online material, such as articles, video clips and other content, the users’ way for studying during their free time, depending on what they stated to be their main domains of interest.
Until now, the arrival of this new texting cellular application is still uncertain and available information regarding the venture is limited. Facebook too is trying to improve its own M messaging service, a type of VA that could help customers finish various tasks like reserving flight tickets.
