A few friendly tips to get you started in Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
Are you thrilled to start playing Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, the latest game in the series? If you’re feeling up to the task, you should definitely keep in mind that the game isn’t just enormous, but challenging as well.
Although Legend of Zelda is definitely a game about searching every nook and cranny for powerful items and potions, at times, the player will find himself lost in this nostalgia-inducing labyrinth. But fear not, because we are here to give you a helping hand in understanding how to get your bearings in the game.
First of all, we should start out by saying that we are going to give out only general advice because there is nothing worse than being hit in the face by a spoiler. So, without further ado, here’s what you need to do in order to enjoy Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild.
Saving your progress is always a great idea, regardless if a game has an auto-save feature or not. You may never know when you might run into a psychotic boss. As far as exploration is concerned, our best advice to you is always to use the zoom feature to get an idea of what to expect.
Towers are very useful for discovering new locations, creating fast-travel points, and to dissipate the fog of war. So, when entering a new region, we advise you to climb the nearest tower in order to make the map visible.
Probably the most frustrating aspect of Zelda’s game mechanics is the climbing part. As you will see, each time you climb, you will lose part of your stamina. Jumping while climbing might seem like a great idea to cover more ground and reach the top faster, but it’s not. It only drains your stamina at a faster rate, and you’ll cover half the ground you would normally traverse in normal climbing mode.
Our advice is to climb at a steady step and to stop a couple of time in order to replenish your stamina. As you will see, the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild features a weapon’s durability system, meaning that, at some point, your weapon will break, leaving you defenseless. Don’t worry too much about that, because you will be able to pick up tons of weapons along the way.
Now, the last tip on our list is a retreat. We know it’s tempting to charge headstrong into the enemy, but sometimes they will be too much to handle. So, if you see that a foe is too much to handle, our advice to your is to run and to come back later after getting more powerful weapons and armor.
