As reports of UFO activity have intensified in the last period, a new event occurred that made everyone wondering whether E.T.’s out there or not.
On the 23rd of November, at around 11 pm, the residents were Florida experienced a frightening spectacle across the sky. According to many of the individuals who have witnessed the event, a great ball of fired shot across the sky.
They’ve also declared that the object was moving very fast, leaving behind a bright trail. In addition, some of them have declared that as the object was traversing the sky, it emitted a low-intensity humming sound.
Needless to say that many of the people who witnessed the event believed that it was definitely the preamble to a full-scale UFO invasion. During the same day, the American Meteorology Society has declared that it received no less than 150 complaints about the great ball of fire which could be seen from Key West to Florida Panhandle.
Josh Stone, a meteorologist, working for ABC7, witnessed the event and declared that in all his career his did not encounter anything similar. So, what was the mysterious bright objected which frightened everyone?
Well, according to the Marshall Space Center, the bright object observed on the 23rd of November wasn’t the telltale sign of a UFO invasion, but a meteor. Bill Cooke, an astronomer who works at the Marshall Space Center, declared that the phenomenon originated in the Gulf of Mexico, at an altitude of 46 kilometers.
After the meteor had descended into the atmosphere, it moved towards the East. After traveling quite a distance, the meteor broke off above the Sea of Anna Maria Island.
While tracking the fast-moving objects, the scientists working at the space institute declared that the object was no bigger than a baseball, but it was traveling at a speed of 40,000 miles per hour.
Cooke and his colleagues declared that approximately 500,000 meteorites hit Earth each year, but most of them can’t be seen since they come down during the daytime. Naturally, the scientists added, due to the roaring like sounds they emit and their brightness, people often confuse them with UFOs.
So, it would seem that there’s no UFO invasion after all. But, don’t despair. It’s very likely that you will be able to shake hands with ET in the following decades.
