New York Microsoft Store just opened.
Following their official announcement last month, Microsoft is opening a flagship store in New York. This retail store will replace the Fendi store that they had before on 677 Fifth Avenue. This new one will be located very close to the famous Apple cube store which is located on the same street.
This retail store is just one of over 110+ outlets which can be found across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. The main difference between this store and others is that it is the first two-story store to open and the largest one up until now.
As you would imagine the store is mainly designed to show off the newest services that Microsoft has to offer. Here you will find laptops on which you can test out any software they have available, which includes Office among others. They also have a lot of hardware items on display which you can try out for yourself.
Currently they are showcasing their Lumia Phones, their Surface Book and Surface Pro 4,Microsoft Band devices and their gaming console the Xbox One. If you’ve been eager to see the Surface Hub display live which features 4K and an 84 inch screen, this is the only place in the world in which you can do so.
The store also has an “Answer Desk”. Here you will be able to find help for any problems you might have with your PC or mobile phone, no matter where you bought the device in the first place. One of their general managers explained that the main goal of these stores since they opened in 2009 was to have a location where they could bring more of their retail services for their customers.
Apparently the company has been receiving a lot of requests for a Microsoft Store in the city they live in. The top request was obviously New York. So they took the time to secure a perfect location which they did last year. From there they started building the store to make it look as fancy and new as possible.
So if you are a true fan of Microsoft you will be excited to know that they are opening a flagship store in New York. Whether you want to buy products straight from them or just want a place where you can find the help that you need for your PC or mobile phone, Microsoft has now got you covered if you happen to live in the New York area.
