Muslim students mourn and gathered at the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) following the deaths of three students, namely Yusor Abu-Salha, Deah Shaddy Barakat and Razan Abu-Salha. The families and friends of these three young students are mourning after they had been slain. The relatives want acknowledgment that the crimes were done with faith as a factor.
Both Muslim and non-Muslim students turned out to mourn for the three students who were shot causing their deaths in North Carolina. According to the FBI that opened a preliminary investigation, there is possibility of hate-crime associated with the killing of the students in the Chapel Hill. FBI source stated that they’re continuing to coordinate with the police department in Chapel Hill in order to process the triple-homicide crime. The agency also opened a parallel inquiry for determination if these killings have violated any federal laws in relation to the case.
