Two San Angelo men have been recently arrested and charged with sexual assault after a woman called the authorities and told them that the men forced her to have sex in a hotel room. Both suspects are now in custody.
San Angelo Men Imprisoned Woman in Hotel Room
According to the San Angelo Police Department, following a call on the 4th of February, the authorities were summoned to the Pearl Hotel located a Rio Concho Drive, by a woman who said that two individuals inside a hotel room sexually assaulted her.
The victim, who wanted to remain anonymous that she met 21-year-old Kyle Frickey through a social media platform and agreed to meet at the Pearl Hotel, where the suspect rented a room. Allegedly, the woman and Frickey had consensual sex inside the hotel room.
However, as she was preparing to leave, Frickey’s friend, later identified as 20-year-old Boyd Mamolo, returned to the room and without requesting permission started to undress the woman. According to the victim’s recollection of the facts, she asked Mamolo to stop, but the individual ignored her plea.
Reportedly, Mamolo pinned her to the hotel bed and had sex with her. The woman said that after Mamolo finished having sex with her, he switched places with Frickey. When she asked them to stop, the two San Angelo men told her that she wanted this.
The woman managed to escape the hotel room and to call the authorities. Both suspects were arrested later that day. When confronted with the allegations, Frickey responded that the woman did indeed tell them to stop, but they did not believe her.
The San Angelo men were charged with sexual assault. If proven guilty, they might spend anywhere from two to twenty years behind bars.
