Alfa Romeo Police Style

May 9, 2016 By Graziella Paone Leave a Comment

"Alfa Romeo, Carabinieri"

Alfa Romeo Has Style.

Once again Italians have thought of an Alfa Romeo model which surprised everyone. With this new design,  Italians showed the true meaning of combining art and technology to build something impressive, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde (QV).

Starting from what is under the hood, Alfa Romeo equipped the QV with a twin-turbocharged V6 engine of 2.9-liter able to generate up to 510 horsepower. It means the Giulia can reach 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph. Plus, this Italian beauty has a front-rear weight distribution of 50/50.

The QV’s purpose is to be efficient in urgent and high-risk situations that the police force may encounter and not only. This Giulia will serve as diplomatic escort and for transporting organs for every patient that needs a transplant. This car is built for speed meaning that its use will not bring benefit only to the police force but also to the medical field.

Besides the fact that it is lighter and not as a big as an ambulance, the QV also has a defibrillator. Despite this, the ambulance is better equipped, but it doesn’t matter because the Giulia does not have the role of an ambulance. However in live or death situation it can be used for that purpose as long as there would be chances to save the victim’s life or at least provide some assistance in less severe cases.

Another feature of the QA is that it has a siren system, an LED light bar mounted on its roof, a radio for HQ communication, and a tablet fixed on the dash in front of the passenger seat. Still, the back seats do not have a tablet.

Nevertheless, the Giulia has a six-speed manual transmission and even if the model does not look spacious enough for military gear from the exterior, it somehow has enough room for high-powered weapons, which will also be stocked in the trunk. It means that this model is built to assist the police force to fight against criminals.

Ultimately, we can say for sure that Alfa Romeo has once again raised the stake and proved that it can represent a formidable opponent against the competition.
