AT&T Releases Limited Mobile Share 7GB Plan with Rollover Data

Feb 9, 2015 By Lori Martinez

The largest GSM carrier has launched its Mobile Share 7GB plan today for its new and existing customers with different options between 300MB and 50GB.

What is Mobile Share? This is a plan which encompasses up to 10 devices—laptops, tablets, basic mobile phones, smartphones as well as hotspot devices. What will happen with Mobile Share is that the devices will share unlimited talk and text on just one chosen data plan with a base price and a monthly fee for every device that is added.

This price of this plan starts at $75 per month plus a specific charge for every phone added which is $15 for smartphones without contract. Tablets are charged $10 every month while laptops and hotspot devices are charged $20 per month. For example, you have four phones and you want to activate them on the AT&T network, you’ll pay a total of $135 per month to get unlimited talk and text plus 7GB of shared data.

On a press notice released by AT&T, it showed that 7GB of data is equal to 60 hours of music, 12 hours of video, 110 hours of web surfing, 500 posts with pictures to social media, 50 downloads of mobile apps and 5,000 emails sent.
