As of today, Tesla’s Model S will feature free Spotify. The auto maker has recently disclosed that they have signed an agreement with the world-renowned streaming service to bring music to its new electric model.
Driving and listening to music seems to go hand in hand, as long as you keep an eye on the road. In an attempt to appeal to younger buyers, Tesla disclosed on Monday that their new Model S will come with free Spotify. Unfortunately, the service is not yet available in the United States as the auto maker wants to test it first in Hong Kong, Australia and Europe.
The other downside to the new announcement is the fact that the Premium subscription that drivers will get for free, won’t be available outside the car. Yet, Spotify thinks, Tesla drivers will eventually upgrade to a paid subscription to get access outside the car, as well.
The new Spotify service that Model S comes with is not the only advantage that Tesla’s buyers will get. The producer has only hinted to some of the technological features that drivers will benefit of if they agree to purchase the electrical model.
According to the company’s description, Tesla’s Model S features an advanced power train that lower all emissions to zero. Yet, the power of the car will not be affected in any way because the rotor will take over most of the motor’s tasks.
Thus, drivers can reach 0 to 60 miles in just 2.8 seconds and the power boost won’t drain their fuel tank, either. The car can reach up to 270 miles, but producers assure us that the elevated speed range won’t cause the car to run out of electric power in a short period of time.
Tesla has further provided their model with other comfortable features. The Autopilot feature offers on road assistance at all times. The cruise control and the automatic steering option have proven very reliable during tests, so drivers won’t have a problem using them.
Tesla guarantees increased safety measures. The car’s center of gravity has been positioned at a lower level to prevent rollover risks and to maximize on road handling. The new free Spotify service, as well as the comfortable upholstery are meant to make the car even more luxurious than it already is.
