If we were to name a winner regarding games and applications for the summer of 2016, that would certainly be Pokemon Go. The massive phenomenon took by surprise developers and users with how quick it spread around the world, turning into an international craze. How about you? How good are you with Pokemon Go? Here are some tricks meant to help you with the game!
Any Pokemon Go player knows that only after level five is where the real game begins. What is next is that you must find a gym to train and battle, to show your master skills and the power and strength of your Pokemon.
Before engaging in a serious battle or competition, you must make sure your Pokemon can deal with the task, as they must have the adequate combat power. In order to achieve that, you must go your team’s gym and engage in friendly battles which will train your Pokemon and gain prestige for both the team and the gym. It seems like a win-win situation.
Gyms have certain levels which are actually indicators of how many Pokemon you have to defeat at the particular gym. Training your Pokemon at the gym helps you improve their combat power level.
According to Business Insider and the developers of the game, this is what you have to do when engaged in a battle:
“Fast Attack (tap): Tap your Pokémon to perform a fast attack. Fast attacks charge your special attack meter.
Dodge attacks (swipe): Swipe left or right to dodge attacks.
Special Attack (long press): Once your Special Attack meter is charged, long-press your Pokémon to perform a special attack. Special Attacks cause large amounts of damage.”
Winning the gym battles means you can actually take over the states gym. As a gym owner, you have to protect it from trainers that might want to take it from you. So your best Pokemon must stand as the defender of the gym. Also, you can increase the level of the gym through friendly battles.
You can also heal your injured Pokemon through items provided in the game, so you don’t lose it. The game also allows you to come up with new strategies for your battles, and you can choose your team members.
Another trick is that you shouldn’t rush into evolving your Pokemon, but increase its combat power through candies and stardust.
Although faults with the game have been discussed numerous times, it is still entertaining. However, statistics show that Pokemon Go started to lose popularity compared to previous months.
